Marta`s Vinyard: Marta`s vineyard is located in the Maipu region of the province of Mendoza in the spectacular pollution free ecosystem of the South American Andes mountains. A finely balanced almost delicate wine with a soft inviting
mouthful of elegant stone fruit flavours.
This style of Viognier is outside the mainstream
with no oak treatment and more of a fruit-driven style, concentrating
on promoting the fruit flavours
of this variety.

Tierra Alta Chardonnay
Rich, buttery white
Central Valley, Chile
Detailed product information
Appellation: Central Valley
Intense aroma of fresh tropical fruits and a touch of butter. This is a fruity and well-balanced wine with a long aftertaste.
Producer information: Tierra Alta
Tierra Alta vineyards are located in Colchagua, Casablanca and Maule Valleys, with a total planted areaof150 hectares. Colchagua Valley has a Mediterranean climate due to the direct influence of the Pacific Ocean. Morning fogs, temperate summers, less pronounced drops in temperature and ideal day-night temperature variation are characteristic of this region. Casablanca Valley has a cool climate, poor sandy-clay soils and thick morning fog make it perfect for wine growing. It has clear Maritime influence, its early morning fog keeps temperatures low and adds moisture in an otherwise dry terrain. Midday breezes allow radiant sunshine to reach the vines and temperatures rise steadily throughout the afternoon. The Maule Valley is Chile`s largest vineyard region. Its climate is sub-humid Mediterranean, and the difference between day and night is around 18 degrees centigrade with a yearly mean average temperature of 14 degrees. Soils vary from alluvial, loamy and volcanic to degraded granite.
